We had a busy time at CHIO Aachen with both Betty and Finn making the trip. It was also a great opportunity to catch up with the team from uvex equestrian who kindly gave me a lovely new helmet!

Finn:

CDI4* Grand Prix – 71.587%

CDI4* Grand Prix Special – 65.340%

Betty:

CDIO5* Grand Prix – 69.54%

CDIO5* Grand Prix Special – 70.830%

I was very pleased with Finn’s improvement in our Grand Prix as it was a tough arena for him and he tried all the way through. Likewise, it was Bettys first time in a stadium like this so she showed some tension in her mouth, losing marks for the contact. It wasn’t the score we had hoped for but I was really thrilled with her and she tried so hard for me.

Some fantastic rides by my teammates and it was great to be a part of Team GB securing the bronze in the Lambertz Dressage Nations Cup
