Wellington didn’t get off to the best start with us missing our first test due to Moony losing a shoe but after a quick farrier visit we were back in action! On the Thursday, he took the win in the 7 year old test with 75.6%. He gave me so much power and is such a fun horse to ride. Great to have Sarah Rogers and one of our homebred horses come second too!

Finn and Betty also joined the party at Wellington over the weekend. Finn wasn’t at his absolute best as he ‘forgot’ how to Piaffe in the Grand Prix but was much better in the Freestyle taking 4th on 75.6% Lara and the lovely 18 year old Kristjan also had a fabulous test to finish 5th. Betty and I had a relatively clean test in the Grand Prix however the contact was a bit messy and let us down. In the Special she just kept getting better and better moving to third place with some higher scores! Lots to build on but very excited to continue to get her back to ‘match fitness’.
